River Rafting

The Kosi River, flowing through the park, offers opportunities for river rafting. It’s a thrilling experience to navigate through the river’s rapids while enjoying the scenic beauty around. Nature Walks and Bird Watching

Take a leisurely nature walk accompanied by a naturalist to explore the flora and fauna of the park. Bird watching is particularly rewarding, with numerous bird species found in the region. In Jim Corbett there are more than 600+ Bird species are found through which you can easily spot approxly 50+ birds in a single Nature Walk. 

Garjiya Devi Temple

Visit the Garjiya Devi Temple, situated on the banks of the Kosi River. It’s a popular pilgrimage site and offers picturesque views of the surroundings. It is situated  in between Kosi River  and whole surrounding  is covered with mountains which gives this pleace a best landscape view.


Corbett Museum

Explore the Corbett Museum to learn about the history of the national park and the life of Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter, conservationist, and author. It has lots of dummy real tiger’s skin portraying them in such manner that makes them looks real. Here you can watch short movie about Jim Corbett tiger reserve and feel a 3d jungle experience at the same place.


Corbett Waterfall

Visit the Corbett Waterfall, a serene cascade surrounded by lush greenery. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. There might be a nominal entry fee to visit the waterfall, which is between 25 to 100 INR depending on the age. Corbett Waterfall is situated approximately 25 kilometers from Ramnagar, the main entry point to Jim Corbett National Park.



The main attractions include jungle safaris in different zones, wildlife spotting, river rafting, Corbett Museum, Garjiya Devi Temple, and Corbett Waterfall.

Jungle safaris can be booked online through the official website of the forest department or through authorized tour operators. It’s advisable to book in advance, especially during peak seasons or book through tour and travel company which is more convenient.

Jim Corbett is home to various species, including Bengal tigers, elephants, deer, leopards, and numerous bird species. However, wildlife sightings are subject to natural conditions

Yes, besides safaris, visitors can enjoy river rafting in the Kosi River, nature walks, bird watching, and fishing in the Ramganga River.

All zones of park is open from mid-November to mid-June. The best time for wildlife sightings is during the dry season from March to June , although the monsoon season (July to September) is great for lush landscapes.
