How to Reach Corbett National Park
The closest and most convenient way to reach Jim Corbett National Park is through Ramnagar, a small town that serves as the headquarters of the Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR). Ramnagar is well-connected to major cities like Delhi, Moradabad, Nainital, and Bareilly via both rail and road networks. Once you arrive in Ramnagar, it takes just about 30 minutes to reach the park, which is located approximately 15 kilometers from the railway station.
Traveling by road is a popular and comfortable option. Corbett National Park lies at a distance of around 260 kilometers from Delhi, making it a perfect destination for a short getaway. Ramnagar enjoys excellent road connectivity, and several government and private buses run frequently from Delhi, Moradabad, Haldwani, and Nainital, offering direct access to the park. Those who prefer a private journey can also opt for taxis or personal vehicles.
For those choosing to travel by train, Ramnagar Railway Station is the nearest railhead and receives regular trains from key cities such as Delhi, Moradabad, and Bareilly. Direct trains from Delhi to Ramnagar make the journey smooth and hassle-free. Some of the popular trains that connect Delhi to Ramnagar include the Ranikhet Express, Corbett Link Express, and Kathgodam Express. Upon reaching the station, local taxis and transport options are readily available to take visitors to their safari zones or accommodations near the park.
