Do’s:

  • Get Entry Permits: Entry to the Corbett Tiger Reserve can only be done with a valid entry permit. Please make sure to obtain the required permits before entering into the park.
  • Carry a Litter Bag: Tourists should carry a litter bag and are required to take away all non-biodegradable trash such as plastic, bottles, metal foil, and tin cans.
  • Hire a Registered Nature Guide: Always have an official nature guide with you. They help find wildlife and lead you through the forest in safety.
  • Respect Wildlife: Keep a safe distance from animals. They are the true gems of the park and must be viewed undisturbed.
  • Enjoy Natural Sounds: Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the forest. Do not play music or use any audio equipments.

Don'ts:

  • No Firearms: Firearms within the reserve are not permitted.
  • No Smoking or Open Fires: Smoking or making fire anywhere in the park is prohibited.
  • No Night Driving: Evening driving within the reserve is not allowed.
  • No Cooking: Cooking is totally forbidden within the National Park.
  • No Music or Loud Devices: Refrain from using transistors, speakers, or any noisy devices.

  • No Horns or Overspeeding: Honking and overspeeding are strictly forbidden.

  • Permits Are Non-Transferable: Your permit is issued in your name and cannot be transferred. Misuse is punishable.
